Fascinated with words I will draw your attention to
Urban Dictionary. My entry 2 days ago from the Washington Post in memento
the words we speak today are not the words we used in my childhood.
My love for slang and new words have actually made me realize how old fashioned
I have become, so I have even put a new feed on this blog today!
Urban Dictionary
is not tame
or lame.
A blame
is for shame
and will maim
the old dame.
So she must claim
to be insane
and is in flame
for the urbane....

News from the Washington Post
What I see is what I get. Search engines galore.
Well, I could live my second life on the net or web or
illustrious info highway, but I am beginning to wonder
even more deeply, for what, for information, for life.
How apt I chose the blog name, I just did not realize
how much it pertains to my feelings of this evolvement.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/11/27/AR2007112702321.html
But at least I am trying hard to keep up my end of
life time learning, or should it be called life time earning,
or life time yearning.
Ambivalentia is me.

Life-time learning on as Monday morning
http://searchenginewatch.com/showPage.html?page=2175271
This is why it is urgent to learn http markup language!!!!
The Rollyo and search engines personalized are very good, if you have time to kill, but
I do not right now.

Brave New World

This is the product that is going to revolutionize the world or similar ones.
I will take everything I said about my adherence to the book back, and the libraries will have to change completely the way we operate.
This is going to be the savior of our trees etc.
Whether all the electromagnetic fields will be good for human kind is another matter.
But if I were a full-time librarian, I would be at least on the alert. Wait till you combine project Gutenberg with KINDLE.
WOW

Pods are us!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRDxievglj0
Mudslinging, is that like podcasting
or is podcasting like mudslinging?
The former is throwing bad water
filled with dirt after somebody -
the latter is throwing whatever
out there filled with whatever.
Podcasting, however, is a powerful
medium and could well be the new
"newsreel" or the cinematographic ads
of yesteryears. Self-promotion has become
easier.
So this podcast is without mudslinging
but throwing out a lot of notes into the ether.

No ambivalence about ??

This is where it gets hairy. A comment on the library website was are you now getting addicted to blogging? Well, yes and no.
I like my other blog better, but because of the requirement I am going to continue on rare occasions.
Political blog?
....Maybe!
Family blog? No.
Inquisitive blog,
Inquisition blog? ...
Funny how these words are related.
If you are curious it is good, but not under an inquisition!
Water boarding - that is not a torture measure?
Water boarding could be "surf boarding", but in this case
the directions in the torture manual does call for
measures that cannot really be detected.
I thought the Geneva conventions were still the norm
to which all civilized nations subscribed, I guess not.
The US is as civilized as I thought. Alas.
